Planowane na maj i czerwiec dwie międzynarodowe konferencje organizowane przez Instytut Teatralny – 33. Kongres SIBMAS „Performing the future. Institutions and politics of memory” (pierwotny termin: czerwiec 2020) oraz konferencja „Cyrk: genealogie, imaginaria, translacje” (pierwotny termin: maj 2020) – zostały przeniesione na inne terminy. Decyzja podyktowana jest pandemią i zagrożeniem koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2.
„Cyrk: genealogie, imaginaria, translacje” | NOWA DATA: 28-30 października 2020
Międzynarodowa konferencja naukowa w ramach cyklu W ŚWIECIE WIDOWISK „Cyrk: genealogie, imaginaria, translacje” planowana była w dniach 6-8 maja br. jednak ze względu na podjęte środki ostrożności w związku z pandemią koronawirusa SARS-CoV-2, termin wydarzenia został przesunięty – odbędzie się ono w dniach 28-30 października 2020 roku.
Uczestnictwo potwierdzimy zgłoszonym prelegentom indywidualnie. Zapraszamy do udziału w programie konferencji, a także wydarzeniach towarzyszących.

Z tych samych powodów przeniesiony na jesienny termin został także organizowany przez Instytut Teatralny 33. Kongres SIBMAS „Performing the future. Institutions and politics of memory”. Wydarzenie planowane na czerwiec br. odbędzie się w dniach 3-6 listopada 2020 roku.
SIBMAS to międzynarodowa organizacja zrzeszająca instytucje posiadające w swoich zbiorach kolekcje teatralne / instytucje w sposób praktyczny związane z gromadzeniem i ochroną teatraliów.
Rejestracja Early Bird zostanie uruchomiona 1 kwietnia i potrwa do końca lipca br. Zapraszamy do rejestracji i uczestnictwa w programie konferencji, a także wydarzeniach towarzyszących.

SIBMAS 2020 Warsaw and “Circus: genealogies, imaginaries, translations” conferences – NEW DATES
Due to the current situation of the global pandemic and the growing awareness of health concerns regarding international travel and group meetings that were planned to take place in not too distant future, we have been forced to postpone the conferences: “33th SIBMAS Warsaw 2020” and “Circus: genealogies, imaginaries, translations”. We are sure everyone will understand the reasons behind this decision.
SIBMAS Warsaw 2020 (planned for June 2020) | NEW DATE: 3rd – 6th of November 2020
We are very pleased to announce that we have been able to secure new dates for the conference. It is our intent that our congress will take place in Warsaw now on 3rd-6th of November 2020.
Early Bird registration will reopen on 1st of April and be extended till the end of July 2020.
• In case you can’t make these new dates and have already registered and made a payment, please contact the conference coordinator till 30th April. We have records of payments and we will be happy to give you a full refund.
• If you can participate in the conference in November and have registered already, please do also inform us by April 30th too.
• If you were considering coming to the conference in June and have not already registered please do consider coming to our autumnal event. Warsaw is lovely in early spring, but we believe it can be equally nice in autumn.
The decision about individual financial grants for conference members who have already requested for it, will be delivered at the start of May.
These are exceptional circumstances in which to organise such an event. We do not know what the next few weeks and months will bring, so we ask you to bear with us at this time. It is still our intent to deliver an exceptional conference in a safe environment for all. We still do believe that our meeting in Warsaw will be a fruitful and an amazing experience for all.

Circus: genealogies, imaginaries, translations. International Academic Conference (planned for May 2020) | NEW DATE: 28th – 30th of November 2020
We have been also able to secure new dates for the conference “Circus: genealogies, imaginaries, translations”, organised as part of the cycle IN THE WORLD OF SPECTACLES. It is our intent that the conference will take place in Warsaw now on 28th – 30th of November 2020.
